Fort Lauderdale, Florida Police and Fire Departments

• By fiscal 2013, firefighters will pay $936 per year for an individual plan and $1,872 a year for a family plan.

Taunton, Massachusetts Police Department (Supervisory Personnel)

• Suspension of step increases, holiday pay and other wages.

Warren, Ohio Fire Department

• January 1, 2010, No increase

• Firefighters will now pay a portion (10%) of health insurance premium.
• City’s contribution to the firefighters’ pensions will drop from 6% to 4%.
• City agrees to staffing level of at least 11 firefighters per day.
