Albany, New York Fire Department

• Under contract, firefighters with at least eight years of service will no longer contribute toward their health insurance (previously applied to firefighters with ten years of service).

Chicopee, Massachusetts Police Department

• Patrolmen will receive $100 increase in clothing allowance.

• The contract loosened the City’s residency requirements, allowing police officers to live up to 20 miles from the city limits.

Sullivan County, New York Sheriff’s Office (Patrol Division)

• Raises will bring Department in line with comparable local police agencies.
